So was listening to the BPM channel on 'Sirius' radio today and decided to come home and try and put together a dance groove. I started with the set of Conga drums I have. The are three LP conga all tuned different so you can almost play a little tune with them. I did 2 mikes but the sound just isn't right since the drums have no sustain and reverb like they do live. I anyone has any suggestions then let me know. I then put down a track on my old Roland U-20 using the edymion setting in the key of 'A'.Nothing to complex since I don't really play keyboards. Then laid down a bass beat to hold the beat together when I did something off beat on the synth and reinforce the drumbeat which is muffled. Finally added a little guitar lead in a couple spots using a blues setting on my Roland pedal board. Not perfect but I think you could dance 2 it.
