Well completed another Song titled 'Hole in my Shoe' a couple days ago and finally getting around to writing about it. I all started during a jam session with my friend Jimmy J. who brought over his guitar and jammed with me in the new studio. At first the session was a little off seemed the timing was off a little and I felt we were clashing a little. So I decided to put down my guitar and pick up my Bass. Well told Jimmy to start playing something and I would kinda get a bass beat going and then we sounded more in time. The whole time we had been playing to the Roland Br-1600 drum machine beat but I think the Bass helped the beat to be stronger. I started with a very simple beat but then added a more notes until I got a really catchy beat going and Jimmy found a groove and we got some nice work done. He had mentioned the "Words Hole in my shoe" describing the song and for some reason those words stuck with me. Later that night I just heard some words pop into my head along with the hole in my shoe words and wrote the song lyrics. The next day sat down at the BR1600 and recorded the guitar intro and lyrics along with some more guitar at the end leaving in some of Jimmy's good jammin too. Posted the Song at Reverbnation so give it a listen!! just click on the song title one you get there!!
